May 29 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior Hurriyet leader, Shabbir Ahmad Shah
has said that India has started a war against Kashmiris and reiterated that
Kashmir was never a part of India.

Ahmad Shah addressing a public gathering at Lal Chowk in Islamabad lashed out
at local authorities said that they were at war with their own people just to
remain in power and were using lethal weapons against their own people. On the
occasion, while paying glowing tributes to double rape and murder victims
Aasiya and Nilofar, Shabir Ahmad Shah said: “We’ll never forget these daughters
of the nation. We remember each and every such incident. Kunan Poshpora,
Jigarpora, Shopian, Chanapora and Badra Payeen – all these heart-wrenching
incidents are still afresh in our minds.”
Shabbir
Ahmad Shah in his address complimented the contribution of people of every
region towards the freedom movement. While commenting on the activities of
BJP/RSS in Chenab region, he said the region is deliberately pushed into chaos
and communal elements are interfering in even educational and other
departments.Lauding the role of Pakistan in its endeavors towards the
resolution of Kashmir dispute, he said Pakistan never stepped back from lending
political, diplomatic and moral support to us at international level.
Terming
the New Delhi’s rhetoric of integral part as childish, Shabbir Shah said if New
Delhi was so sure of its claims, it should, without any delay, start referendum
and the results would be acceptable to us.
He
also paid tributes to the Kashmiri leaders, Mohammad Maqbool Butt and Afzal
Guru and appealed the world nations to press India to return the mortal remains
of these martyrs. Shah was accompanied by party General Secretary Moulana
Muhammad Abdullah Tari, Mirwaiz Qazi Yasir, Advocate Fayaz Ahmad Sodagar,
Engineer Farooq Ahmad, Mukhtar Ahmad Sofi, Manzoor Ahmad Ghazi, Zahoor Ahmad
Sheikh, Molvi Bashir Ahmad besides several party leaders of south Kashmir.
