THE TRAIL OF INDIAN TERROR: FROM KULBHUSHAN TO MASTI KHAN

Baloch insurgents have been consistently denying Indian support and have been declaring their fight against state of Pakistan as indigenous. But latest revelations from Mr. Ahmer Maste Khan have caused real embarrassment for those fighting Pakistani state in Balochistan. As a matter of fact the startling revelations of Mr. Ahmer Masti have exposed the entire game plan of R&AW hatched since 2001 to stage terrorism in Balochistan. Ahmer Masti Khan is a prominent voice working against Pakistan and for the freedom of Balochistan. He is Chairman of American Friends of Balochistan, a lobby supporting free Balochistan. He claims to be a writer and intellectual. He is open in expressing his admiration of India and also calls himself an Indian supporting PM Modi and Hindus asking their help on Balochistan issue.

Ahmer Masti Khan took his twitter handle to address Indian Public and to Indian PM Modi. He criticized India policy of funding militancy in Balochistan and killing innocent Baloch people. He questions the policy of RAW of providing at least 15 Million USD to each of three Baloch militant organizations of Lashkar-e-Balochistan led by Javed Mengal, United Baloch Army led by Mr. Mehran Marri and Balochistan Republican Army led by Brahamdagh Bugti. Mr. Masti calims that Indian RAW has paid over 800 Million USD to militants waging war and harming the people of Balochistan. He questioned absurd wastage of at least 10 million USD each in advertisement campaigns orchestrated in Washington, Geneva and in rest of Europe for free Balochistan from the forums of these, militant organizations. He also calls RAW a bogus and useless organization and accuses the spy agency of misappropriating at least 35-40% of the total money earmarked to “Help Balochistan”.

In one of his previous press conference from Geneva Mr. Masti quotes a Balochi saying, ‘I did not catch the thief, the thief caught me’. It looks that this time RAW could not catch Ahmer Masti Khan, instead he caught the organization. Mr. Masti is sure that RAW’s plans of supporting terrorism and militancy in Balochistan through the desk officer Nagesh Bohshan are going to be defeated. He asks critical questins from Mr. Modi and Indian people about their policy and asks them to stop bombing Balochistan and instead help build Balochistan like China. The revelations from Mr. Masti Khan are yet another proof of Indian sponsored terrorism in Balochistan after Kulbhushan Yadav.

Sincere Baloch leaders from inside and abroad have always expressed their concerns about Indian sponsored insurgency in Balochistan. Dr. Jumma Khan Marri, a self-exiled Baloch nationlist leader and intellectual has recently parted ways from Baloch separatist elements like Brahamdagh Bugti, Hyrbyar Marri and Mehran Marri accusing them of being completely controlled by Indian Intelligence Agency RAW and for being on its pay-roll. He announced launching of “Overseas Pakistani Balochi Community” at an event in Moscow, to celebrate Pakistan Unity Day under the slogan ‘united we stand, divided we fall’. Dr. Marri has been living in Moscow for the past two decades and is one of the senior political activists of the Baloch movement. It is said that he had designed the movement’s flag. He is the son of former guerilla leader Mir Hazar Khan Marri, who was a key palyer in the movement and leading the insurgency in the 1970s. He explained that the new organization would counter the ongoing Free Balochistan Movement.

One of the main reasons for Dr. Jumma Khan’s changed stance is that today’s so-called Baloch movement is completely hijacked by India. To him, Pakistan is trying its best to address genuine concerns of Baloch people through development projects with CPEC as the biggest example.

Another strange link of Mr. Ahmer Masti can be easily tracked to the South Asians against Terrorism & for Human Rights (SAATH) forum through his association with Mr. Hussain Haqqani. So called pakistni liberals and intellectuals have been meeting for over two years to craft narratives against Pakistan state. No wonder the link and the name of SAATH associates appear from all those chanting slogans against the state of Pakistan and its institutions. SAATH has been supporting these so called Baloch leaders who now lie naked in Indian “Hamam” of RAW. Narratives and slogans of Pashtun Thaffuz Movement have also been crafted and promoted through SAATH associates belonging to a nationalist party of KPK. SAATH and all those supporting the forum from Pakistan and abroad are busy in conspiring against Pakistan and must therefore be fully exposed.

It is important to understand the logic behind confessional video of Mr. Ahmer Khan Masti. RAW may be lifting her hands off the so called Baloch insurgent leaders considering them useless and ineffective. The leadership of these organization and intellectual front men has failed to satisfy their masters about their usefulness. Disinterest of RAW has forced Mr. Ahmer Masti raise his voice and spoil the game plan of others as well. RAW has rather opted to follow the policy of sponsoring dissenting voice based on local grievances against governance. Ahmer Masti’s original pain about RAW is not yet known but there are reports that the RAW is focusing on younger generation and opting for soft revolutions. Unfortunately they have failed to find a Manzoor Pashteen in Baloch youngsters, but in doing so they have been exposed very badly by one of their faithful.

Baloch people now understand that the so called Baloch Insurgent leaders sitting and enjoying abroad are sincere to none other but to their personal self. Those chanting slogans of freeing Balochistan are paid for each slogans and for each poster they raise. Their dream of development and peace in Balochistan is becoming true. Those playing in the hands of RAW need to throw down the weapons and follow people like Dr. Jumma Khan.

Ahmer Masti’s story is an eye opener for those opting to join RAW sponsored camps. Hussain Haqqani is already wanted by Pakistani Courts and one day some loyal will disclose his role in RAW’s orchestra – though seemingly very visible. Academia and the opinion makers in Pakistan need to stand for the people of Pakistan who want peace and progress and not the enemies who want confusion, frustration and Fassad in this land of peace and pure.

Thrust Lines for Information Operations.

· Revelations by Mr. Masti Khan is extremely important and need exploitation like that of Kulbhushan Yadav’s story.

· RAW has spent over 800 USD on sponsoring terrorism in Balochistan since 2001. Organization has paid at least 15 Millions USD each to Baloch militant organizations of Lashkar-e-Baloch led by Javed Mengal, United Baloch Army led by Mr. Mehran Marri and Balochistan Republican Army led by Brahamdagh Bugti.

· RAW has also backed the Free Balochistan advertisement campaign through these militant organizations and their front offices like ‘Balochistan House’ by paying 10 Million USD for campaigns in Washington, Geneva and other European countries.

· Foreign backers of insurgent leadership sitting abroad have decided to dump its old horses and are opting for newer trends to ignite youth through soft revolutions like Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement. SAATH and its associates advise the wicked brains behind such uprising, and stand fully exposed.

· Academia, Opinion makers and political workers need to understand the sinister plan behind switch over of tactics, with reliance on new horses and dumping old horses.

· Perception can be built for taking up the case on all diplomatic forums by highlighting the revelations and the role of RAW in sponsoring terrorism in Balochistan.

· A massive media campaign targeting links of RAW with terror networks, Hussain Haqqani and SAATH forum should be launched to take maximum advantage out of Masti Khan disclosure.
